Master Angler (Adults ages over 16) 

winners whose entries qualify as the record for the year will receive:

  • an 8" x 10" certificate suitable for framing

  • a Master Angler pin

  • an official "Master Angler" award ball cap

New: starting this year (2026):   After Nov 30th, all youth entrants names, for the year they enter, will go into a draw and one entrant will win a fishing package.  All adult entrants will also go into a draw and one entrant will win a $50.00 gift card.

Junior Master Angler

(Children ages 16 and under)

 Winners whose entries qualify as the record for the year will receive:

  • an 8" x 10" certificate suitable for framing

  • a Master Angler pin

  • an official "Junior Master Angler" award ball cap

For 2017, a BIG thank you to Bass Pro Shops for sponsoring a prize for the Junior Master Angler category.  A name from amongst all the Junior applicants names will be randomly drawn to win the following Bass Pro Fishing  Back-Pack & Rod Prize Pak  pictured here.

  • Entrants that break the overall NB Record will receive a specially designed embroidered cap along with a Master Angler pin and certificate.

 

  • For non-qualifying Record Fish of the Year entries:  

Adult entrants who enter a released fish and all Junior entrants will receive  a Master Angler pin.
